Once upon a time, there was an old emperor who lived in an enormous golden palace in the middle of the city of Ping Chon. He had three beautiful daughters, but unfortunately, no son. He wanted his daughters to marry before he died because he wanted his kingdom to be stronger than other countries. He found three princes. However, his daughters didn’t like them because they were either silly or bad people. So they refused to marry the princes, and the emperor became very angry and lost his mind. He threatened to lock them up in the tower if they didn’t get married before they turned 16.
Then the three daughters ran away during the night and found work on a farm. The farm was run by three young, handsome farmers who liked reading Shakespeare in their free time. The princesses fell in love with the farmers while they were working. They got married when they turned 16 and confronted their father. The father regretted his attitude, apologized, and they returned to the palace, where they lived long and happy lives.
